8 Months Old

Well, we are all over strep throat, but Arrott is still dealing with the side effects from the amoxycillin.  I hate it.  It doesn't seem to bother him emotionally, but man has he developed a wicked rash.

Anyways, Arrott is 8 months old today.  It's so hard to believe.  He is growing like a weed.  When we took him in to the doctor's office when he had strep, he weighed 21 lbs. and 3 oz.  He is a biggun for sure.  He is commando crawling and sitting himself up.  When we go to get him out of his crib in the morning, he is just sitting there clapping.  It's pretty hilarious.  Here are what you've really been looking for, pictures.

In other news, the Asher Street house is off of our radar.  They received a contract last week for the full asking price, so I guess that means it wasn't meant to be.  To be honest, I had already started having doubts.  It was confirmed over the weekend.

One of our friends made the comment that Matt will look back several years from now and only have memories of working on the weekend.  That comment really hit home for me.  As much as I LOVE old houses, I would much rather have a new house only requiring upkeep so that Matt is more available on the weekends.  So, what did we do yesterday?  We drove around looking for lots of land to build.  We'll see what the powers that be have in store for us.  I promise to keep you posted.  Until then, have a great week!!
