Hippity Hoppity...

Hope everyone had as beautiful of a weekend as we did here.  Saturday, we drove out to Brightwood, VA to an "organic" tulip farm where you pick your own tulips.  Well, there just so happened to be an Easter egg hunt with a special appearance from the Easter bunny himself.  How did the bunny get put into Easter anyways??  Shockingly, Arrott was not that scared of the Easter bunny.  Maybe it's because we didn't force him to sit on his lap in the middle of a crowded mall???  He even gave him a high five. 

Afterwards, we went back home and started to tackle the landscaping.  There's so much to do, but we thought we weren't getting anywhere not at least starting with a small patch.  Arrott was so good.  He pretended to dig dirt while we dug out the beds. 

For an afternoon snack, I made him a smoothie.  From the pictures below, you can tell that there is definitely a beet mixed in.  Thank God we had these suckers outside.

We lounged around most of Easter morning and then headed to Matt's grandparents' house for Easter dinner.  I didn't take too many pictures from Easter itself, but here are a few.  Sorry they are all centered around my son.  I'm just trying to spread a little cuteness over web.
