No, he's not an Indian Outlaw, but when I saw pictures of little teepees on some of my favorite blogs, I knew Arrott had to have one. I mostly followed a tutorial on how to cut the material, but we sort of did our own thing with every other detail. We bought everything we needed except for the grommets and ribbon from Lowe's. The "frame" was made out of broomstick handles that you can buy by themselves and a simple drop cloth.
Of course with most projects you have something you'd do differently, and I'd have to say that I would probably try to get a funkier fabric. "Lineny" drop cloth works just fine also. From there, I sewed my little heart out even down to the strings on the inside. I am pretty proud of myself. So, here are just a few pictures of the project that I'm probably most proud of.
So cute and job well done! Glad to see you are putting your machine to work. What's next?
