Weekend Update

Man, oh man, have we been busy.  I have discovered what pushes Matt to get projects finished, create deadlines.  I did not create this one, however.  Matt has decided that he would like to throw a quasi Radford reunion on October 15 and would like to have a fenced in yard with a patio to throw down in.  These are things that we had had on our wish list, but I had moved this into the "ain't gonna happen anytime soon" column.

Well, in less than a week, two trees have been removed that were either dying or releasing its knife-life leaves on the yard and the fence has been started.   Pictures are slowing moving from a pile in the floor to the walls, and new lights have been hung in the entryway and the porches.  We have even found the time to hang a swing on the front porch for Arrott.  Here are just a few pictures of the latest progress.

Posts in after the first day.

Arrott and I surveying Daddy's progress after day 1.  Mother and son approved. :)

Sad to see the trees go, but it had to be done.  I'm sure we were not our neighbors' favorite this morning.

Current state of affairs.  Notice Arrott's swing to the right on the porch.

Yes, those posts will be cut.

Take away the fence, and this has been our backyard view for over a year.

My latest project.  I'm kinda in love with it.

Finally hung these beauties.  The top firemen picture is one of my Popee Lacks.

Our new light, mirror, and PLUM door!!!

Another shot of the front which will soon have some landscaping.
