Child Labor

I probably should have thought of another title for this post, but hopefully the law will know that it's impossible to get a 4.5 month old to swing a hammer.  Simply impossible!  

This weekend was a good weekend despite all of the rain on Saturday.  We took the day to go shopping for dining room chairs.  For those of you that have been to our house, it's no surprise that seating is a little bit of an issue.  It's bad when the best chairs in the house are from IKEA, so we went on the prowl for the slip-covered dining room chairs I've been wanting since we moved into the house.  I think we finally found some that are solid and still somewhat "affordable" as well as a dining room table, sofa, and occasional chair.  Now I just need to find lady luck.

Yesterday was beautiful.  I woke up early to make it to the grand opening of the Culpeper T.J. Maxx.  This was quite the event here.  After I scooped up some adorable Eagle Eye and Osh Kosh clothes for A, I went back to the house to paint the bathroom, and Matt worked on the columns on the front porch.  We are oh so close to painting and are still shooting for a beginning of May deadline for paint.  I'm just happy we have finally decided on a color.  I can't think about it anymore or I'll change my mind again. 

Here's a little picture from the weekend of Arrott supervising his dad as he cleaned up his tools.  It was pretty comical to look outside and see Arrott in his stroller seemingly all by himself.
